Live Photo alternatives: choose around the result

Start with what you want to save. A video editor helps build a composition; a focused Live Photo workflow helps finish a moving photo on iPhone. These guides explain where each approach fits and when keeping your current editor makes sense.

Choose the next step

  1. Compose or edit

Combine clips, retouch a portrait, add captions or control motion in your editor.

  2. Prepared video

    What file do you need?

  3. Create a Live Photo

Select the video in Liveify on iPhone, trim it, choose a cover and save.

Three questions before choosing

What work remains? If you need titles, layered edits, captions or transitions, compare those editing tools first. If the clip is finished, focus on trimming, cover selection and saving.

What file do you need? Video, GIF and a native Live Photo serve different destinations. A video resolution claim or a “live wallpaper” template name does not establish native Photos saving.

Where will you finish? Liveify’s browser video page is a preview. Native Live Photo creation and saving require the iPhone app and choosing the original video again.
