WebP quality
HEIC keeps iPhone photos small on the phone, but browsers other than Safari can't display it, so it's no use on a website. WebP is the format built for the web: every current browser shows it, and at the same visual quality it's typically 25–35% smaller than a JPG. Smaller images mean faster pages, which visitors notice and search engines measure.
This converter decodes each HEIC on your device and encodes it as WebP, at 92% quality by default. Pick Smaller file (80%) for product grids and blog images where size matters most. WordPress, Shopify, Wix and Squarespace all accept WebP uploads. For email attachments or places that don't take WebP yet, HEIC to JPG is the safer choice.
Small files without the fuss.
WebP is noticeably smaller than JPG at the same quality, so images load faster and use less bandwidth.
Convert a whole product shoot or photo set at once, then download every WebP in one ZIP.
High (92%) keeps fine detail; Smaller file (80%) is usually indistinguishable on a web page at a fraction of the size.
The WebP is a clean encode without EXIF, so GPS coordinates from your iPhone don't end up on a public website.
Rotation is applied and the original pixel size is kept. Resize later in your CMS if you need smaller dimensions.
Photos are converted on your own device. Unreleased products and client work stay private.
