Unzip the download, then AirDrop the .JPG and .MOV over together. Photos sees the matching identifier and merges the two into one Live Photo. Sending only one of the files won't pair, so keep them together.

Can I set the result as a Live wallpaper?

Yes. The output is a genuine Live Photo, so you can set it on your Lock Screen and it animates when you press and hold.

What about looping GIFs?

We convert one full play-through of the GIF. Live Photos are short, so shorter GIFs give the most natural result.

My GIF has odd dimensions, will it work?
