Create a Live Photo

Work backward from the asset you want to keep
A video for a social post may already be complete after generation and editing. A native Live Photo in the iPhone library needs an appropriate saving or import step as well. Wallpaper adds another device-specific check. Decide which destination matters before comparing how many effects or generation options an app advertises.
Picsart’s US listing documents image-to-video tools alongside broader design features. That is evidence for creating motion, not proof of a particular native Photos asset. The sources used here do not settle every Picsart export option, so this guide leaves native Live Photo delivery unverified instead of declaring it unsupported.
Choose generation controls for the actual scene
Picsart’s official web image-to-video page describes motion prompts and model-dependent choices for frames, duration and resolution. Those web descriptions should not be assumed to match every option in the iPhone app. If you need a particular camera movement or endpoint, check the chosen model and platform before generating.
Liveify’s web AI flow also accepts a still image and an optional motion prompt. Inspect faces, text, object shapes and background edges throughout the result. These are proposed review points, not measured failures or a claim that one model preserves them better. Generated motion should not be treated as recovery of movement that was never recorded.
Account for packaging and importing as real steps
One proposed route is to create and download a video in Picsart, transfer the finished file to iPhone, then select it in Liveify for trimming, cover selection and native saving. This follows the advertised input and output roles; we have not verified that handoff for every generated file or export setting.
The separate Liveify web AI route sends a still image for cloud generation and packages the result as .livp. It requires sign-in and credits, and saving the bundle to Photos requires an iPhone app with compatible import support. A downloaded bundle is not proof of import success. The browser video preview offers neither this AI generation nor a downloadable native Live Photo.
Compare the complete project and generation cost
Picsart’s design tools can remain useful before and after animation: preparing backgrounds, arranging text or making a collage may be the largest part of the work. Keep that workflow if it serves your project. A focused creator is worth considering for the final asset, not as an assumed substitute for templates, editing and collaboration.
The October 13, 2026 US snapshot lists Picsart 30.9.2 at iOS 15.0 minimum and Liveify 1.14 at iOS 17.0. Free installation does not establish free generation. Picsart’s web credit cost depends on the model; Liveify also requires AI credits. Check the offer, retry cost and failed-job terms before use. We have not verified refunds or measured cost per usable result.
Common questions
Is an AI video already a native Live Photo?
A video download does not establish native Photos saving. Plan the creation or import step and check the resulting asset on iPhone.
Does Liveify’s web AI download go straight into Photos?
Its .livp bundle needs a compatible iPhone importer. Keep the bundle intact and confirm playback after import before using it as wallpaper.
Should I replace Picsart if I use its design tools?
Not necessarily. Keep its templates, text, background and editing workflow when those tools matter. Live Photo delivery may be a separate finishing step.
