JPG quality
iPhones save photos as HEIC by default because the format keeps the same detail at about half the size of a JPG. The catch is that plenty of places still can't read it: Windows Photos asks you to buy an extension, many upload forms reject it, and older apps show a blank thumbnail. JPG works everywhere, so converting is usually the fastest way to get a photo where it needs to go.
This converter decodes each HEIC on your own device and saves it as a standard JPG at 92% quality, which looks the same as the original at normal viewing sizes. You can convert up to 50 photos in one go and download them together as a ZIP. Want your iPhone to stop making HEIC in the first place? Open Settings → Camera → Formats and choose Most Compatible.
Batch-friendly, private, and free.
Decoding and encoding happen in your browser. Your photos never reach a server, which matters for IDs, documents and family pictures.
Drop in up to 50 photos at once. Each one converts in turn, and you can download them individually or as a single ZIP.
Skip the paid HEIF/HEVC extensions. Convert to JPG and the photos open in Windows Photos, Paint, Word and any web form.
High (92%) is the default. Choose Best for archiving or Smaller file for email and upload limits.
Rotation is applied, so portrait shots stay portrait. Photos keep their resolution, including 48 MP iPhone shots.
The JPG is a clean re-encode without EXIF data, so GPS coordinates and device details aren't passed along when you share it.
